Ava's Demon by Michelle Czajkowski: not exactly a book but a beautiful web comic BEAUTIFUL

Super(Ish) by Rachael..:In the superhero world, Everett Moore is regarded as nothing more than a sidekick with a pretty face. She's left out of everything, and she has to say that it really sucks. She also has to say that she's sick and tired of being underestimated, just because she doesn't have the coolest powers in the universe. She and her twin sister, Wren, ensconced themselves in the Simon Snow series when they were just kids; it's what got them through their mother leaving.

Unseen by Bel Watson: Rumour has it that a new guy is joining our class this year. All the girls are going crazy, imagining all the case scenarios from cliché YA books: mysterious, rebel, bad boy, werewolf, fallen angel, even vampire! The worst part, I don’t even think they have read the books; they only watched the films. However, it doesn’t make much difference to me, it’s not like he is going to see me. No one sees me. Oh but don’t worry, I got used to this and I learnt to enjoy it. Believe me, being unseen has its perks. I’ll show you.

Spoiler warning for ToA btw. Calypso is sad when she's mortal again, right? Maybe because she was working for the Beast and thought she'd get her powers back. In The Odyssey, Calypso is shown to be hostile and keeps Odysseus in her island for seven years. Maybe those true colors can show! She, herself, was a titan and was against the gods in the first Titan War. She might've changed over the past thousand years, but what if she didn't? What if the unbridled rage in her filled up and she chose the beast's side?

so I've gotten ToA and yeah I really want to take it off I was so excited for this book but now, not so much. There's this really annoying girl that I really do not like, but that's not what I'm worried about. Percy's getting a baby sister? No, not what I'm worried about. What I'm worried about, my diggity dogs, is the last chapter.

twenty one pilots: Oh this will be fun. I miss the Vessel era, it was so happy and the fandom was so cozy. BOOM! Radio stations had to come in and ruin it for the Skeleton Clique. Now, everyone in the fandom hates Stressed Out! Their albums are so short though, but I loved Blurryface nonetheless. We Don't Believe What's on TV is my favorite on the album. Also, Holding on to You was beautiful. I'm trying to learn the handshake, it's so hard! I hate it when people don't appreciate Josh, he's in the band as well! Screen is nice and happy, and Goner is so sad... top is in the more recent addition to the Type Three Emo, but it's beautiful still. I love twenty one pilots, my favorite band. And did you know you can hear Josh in migraine? He does 2..3.. when Tyler goes depresssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssing thoughts.

Troye Sivan: oh i love my twelve year old. twelve? i meant four. four year old. how do you not ship him with connor? i mean it's okay if you still ship him with tyler, but whyyyy? blue neighborhood is bae. amazhang. suburbia, for him, lost boy, and talk me down are my personal favorites. really speaks to me, you know? i've been subscribed to troye since 50,000 subs. why doesn't he post anymore? i liked trxye and wild he made funny vids. what happened to his quiff? did he just cut his hair too short? it's fine i still love my gay baby

Lana Del Rey: amazhang. first song i heard was summertime sadness back when i was into mainstream stuff *shudder* i love off to the races and diet mountain dew, and have listened to all albums. love double thumbs up

Marina and the Diamonds: LoVe. First song heard: Valley of the Dolls, Favorite: I am not a Robot so yEaH basically

Melanie Martinez: how do you not love mel? she's amazing as well. loved her since the voice! i was devastated when she was kicked off. i liked dollhouse, it was amazing, but when i listened to crybaby, i was amazed. i love concept albums, i think i read somewhere badlands was one as well? eh. her style of clothing and music is just lovable and creepy at the same time. like my personality. she's beautiful. love. my fave song from her was pity party but now its mad hatter. cos my pen name is hatter minerva.

Halsey: our love. nathan got obsessed with her recently. my favorite song from her is in a competition between gasoline and roman holiday and young god. but i like young god the most so i think that takes the cake. halsey's hair is beautiful as well. colorful and smooth. i like the instrumentals to her songs. they're nice. the first song i heard from her was hurricane. still love it.

Panic! At The Disco: I HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS BRENDON!!!!1!!!11!!!1 also Gerard read the milk fic... ew. First song I heard from them was I Write Sins not Tragedies, naturally. I first became a fan like in 2013 I think. I loved Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! Favorite song from them goes to Miss Jackson because um percy hahahahhahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ha so.......... let's move on... I never fully listened to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, Pretty. Odd, or Vices and Virtues. Just choppy parts. Don't kill me pls

Fall Out Boy: I don't like them as much as I used to, but still a fan. First song I'd listened from them was Sugar We're Goin Down, and I don't even remember when that was. Favorite song from them goes to Uma Thurman, because it's catchy and I love the actress. I've only listened to Save Rock and Roll and American Beauty/American Psycho please don't kill me

My Chemical Romance: I'm not exactly a fan of them, but I'm not exactly not a fan. Only listened to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and a few other songs. I was still sad when they broke up, however.

Eighth Book!

First off, Fandom Week started yesterday, so the activity is that if you're in any sort of fandom, write the number 74 on you because 7 Harry Potter Books, 7 Heroes of Olympus, 4, for Tobias Eaton, and put them together and you get 74, for the 74th Hunger Games! Fandom Week ends on May 5th, so hurry and write down 74!

Still no requests, so I'll give you one of my recommendations.

Ten Reasons Not To Die by Vanessa, (no last name) is a book where there's a girl who wants to commit suicide, but this guy wants to prevent her from doing so, so she gives him ten days to give her ten reasons not to die, and if he fails, she can go jump off a cliff. Here's the description.

"Give me ten days, and I can give you ten reasons not to die." Evan paused. "And if I can't change your mind by then, you can go jump off that cliff."

Very amazing book, in my opinion it should've won the 2012 Watty's, but it's in the past. It's a short story, 12 chapters, but still amazing. Tem/Tem.

Book Rants: MERCH

Okay,there's merch for things, right?

There's the Harry Potter Funko Figures. But I've looked literally everywhere and I can't find the first Dumbledore! I've only got the second! Why have merchandise and make them impossible to find?

Example: There's an actual Mythomagic Card Series on Etsy. But guess what? I've ordered the set that includes 7 Common Cards, 2 Limited Edition Cards (One Monster, One God), and possibly one holographic limited edition double attack point card. I've ordered this set seven times, and I still cannot find the limited edition holographic double attack point Nemesis, Ares, or Persephone! WHY??!!!! Again, I have ordered this SEVEN TIMES!!! I've got three Ghost Kings already, and that's supposedly the "hardest card to find!" Nathan isn't even giving me his holographic double attack point Nemesis! ??????? Don't even get me started on the glossy Aphrodite double defence point card! I've been looking for it for so long! AND NOW IT'S OUT OF STOCK!! Like I want to charmspeak my enemy! I WANT 5000 DEFENCE! I will not settle for the extra attack Aphrodite! That one just has glitter! Okay, I admit, the extra attack Artemis is pretty neat since the silver glimmers BUT AT LEAST THE NEW ATTACK (which is to summon the hunters) IS USEFUL! The extra attack is just to speak French, which'll just heal you fully? YOU WOULDN'T NEED THAT HEALING IF YOU JUST GAVE ME DOUBLE DEFENCE. I have ELEVEN holographic Hermes cards now, I don't need to steal more health points. THE DOUBLE ATTACK HOLOGRAPHIC CARDS GO OUT IN TWO WEEKS! I don't want it to go out in two weeks! And by the way, they didn't even make Mythomagic statues for the minor gods! I want a lil tiny Nike on my drawer! I'M SORRY HEPHAESTUS BUT I HAVE THREE OF YOU

Book Rants: Tiny Rants

Ok, this time for book rants, I'm not going to rant about one thing. I'm ranting about several small things not worthy enough to get their own posts. Here we go.

LIBRARIES: Ok, I admit, I don't buy a lot of my books. And frankly, I'd like to keep it that way. Even though I aspire to have a bedroom with bookshelves covered across the walls, not too big, not too small, covered in posters, perfect for fangirling and staying up late, I don't have the money to keep that many books. So I go to the library. And I think it's nice! But it always seems they never have the book I want! It's like everyone's reading the same series as me at the same time! And also, the books there are trash. You share those books with like a thousand other people! You do not get the right to make holes in them! I can't read two pages because of you that way! What kind of monster would take their time and rip out pages! rjjandfinievjiuashndycdavtbid

DESCRIPTIONS: Are you like me? Do you read the descriptions and reviews before reading a book? Good news! You're like me! But you know what's the worst? WHEN THEY PUT IN A SPOILER AT THE DESCRIPTION. Like qjnvejavncedsNhvftads dude! Why?! I don't want to be halfway through the book and find out [Insert character name] dies in the middle! I want to be shocked! Is it so hard to keep the spoiler out of the description? You know how there's those question things? I read one, and it went like:

Did you have to write [insert spoiler here?]
Love, literal spawn of satan.
NO BUT PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO THIS.
And the worst part is when it turns out to be a book in the series! Like when the spine of the book doesn't have the number it is in the series SUCKS. You know the book Ender's Game? I read that book halfway through before googling it and I found out IT'S THE FOURTH BOOK IN A SERIES. I JUST SPOILED IT FOR MYSELF.

BLOOD OF OLYMPUS: This book was just a huge disappointment. By the way, if you look really closely at the whole "Heroes of Olympus" banner at the top, THE SPACING IS UNEQUAL. It annoys me so much im sorry

COVERS: Oh look, it's actually a really great book! But you know the cover you're gonna get? A cliched one that nobody likes. And sometimes there isn't anything on the back!

FANGIRLING: Hipsters are always like, "Ugh do you know that feeling when you love someone who'll never love you back?" Like ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? We're fangirls! The people we love don't even exist! Do yOu KnOw HoW fRuStRaTiNg ThAt iS?

FANGIRLS: Most people think fangirls are all happy and bubbly and like that. But guess what buddy? It's not. We have anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, we're not that bubbly! We use these things we love as an escape! Don't punish your son or daughter by taking away their screen time! You're supposed to heighten their self esteem, not lower it!

BERKS: Do you ever like finish the second to last book in a series but end up reading another one because you don't want it to end? Like I finished Half Blood Prince and started The Hunger Games. I finished Catching Fire and I started reading PJO. (But let's be real, there'll never be an end to PJO.)

MOVIE COVERS: Why? We want the original covers.

BOOK STORES: Where did all of them go? I used to go to this one that was like five to ten minutes from my house on a walk. But guess what? It went bankrupt. So now there's only Barnes and Noble! AND IT'S LIKE A MILLION MILES AWAY Like Barnes and No

UNCULTURED SWINE: THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE W H O  H A V E N ' T  R E A D  T H E  P J O  S E R I E S. I try to tell them about a funny line? THEY H A D TO IGNORE ME!

but yeah that's pretty much it i've calmed down there might be another one of these in like two hours if i can be angry at rick riordan again

Book Rants: Bad Ships Two!

Before we get on the second NOTP, I'll update you on Caleo. (Skip all the bold text if you would like to move on)

On instagram, I'm strictly following accounts that don't ship Caleo! If they do, I block them and unfollow. I'm not even gonna leave Caleo shippers to follow me, if they ship it, they're gonna be so butthurt about everything!

My friends and I have been in a Caleo hater club. That's how bad it is! Who doesn't ship Leo with themselves? (Probably hetero-males in the PJO/HOO fandom)

And there's a ship war going on in my reading group. We've had good reasons not to ship Caleo.

1) They hit it off a week after meeting. Seriously? Rick, that's way too rushed.
2) Suddenly their personalities are altered? Leo becomes mature? CALYPSO IS SASSY?!?!?!
3) Calypso's a water nymph, Leo's a mortal. It's just weird to ship a guy with another being.
4) Calypso was shown to still like the other men who landed on Ogygia. 
5) The rest of the seven think Leo's dead
6) Leo prioritized this girl who he'd known for a few weeks over his friends (Pipes and Jase-boy) who he's known for at least a year!

My friend even read a smut where Calypso never mind

Another thing, it feels wrong that the last scene had to be Caleo and not Percabeth or Frazel or Lightning McLean! 

And then the reasons the other group chose to ship Caleo?

1) They're cute together in the fanart

?!?!?

It feels so wrong to me, but at least Leo's happy.

Okay, now onto the ship we need to talk about.

Dramione.

Why?

Okay, this seems like such an obvious question. Yeah, there's really no real reason to ship them, they didn't show much interest in each other, but for heaven's sake we shipped Jason with a brick

The fanfics written about Dramione are really annoying. For example, most of them have terrible grammar. The personalities have to shift for the relationship to work out (and you can see how that worked out for me in Caleo)

And what about Ronmione? They balanced each other's personalities out, what about the canon writing about them? Jo put them together for a reason.

Also, bruh. Draco Malfoy, the kid who hated muggle-borns, loved pure bloods, wanted Hermy dead in CoS, and stood there when Bellatrix carved the mudblood scar into her. ?!?! (When I give many question marks and exclamation points, I'm trying to mimic the thing I do in real life when I squint at people with no reason) I don't think Hermione can just forgive that. DRACO FOR JABBER'S SAKE. He was raised thinking muggle-borns were the living scum on earth wouldn't just love her straight like that!You can't just change your beliefs like that! It would take so long, long enough for Ronmione (cough canonically) to get married! ?!?!

Dramione shipper in the crowd: WHAT ABOUT THE FICS WHERE RON'S AN ABUSIVE BOYFRIEND-

Me: no please no just get off this website

Who reads the books and goes, "Yeah, Ron's gonna beat her with a belt in the future." Cause what I think is, "Yeah, Ron's gonna beat her at Mario Kart in the future." Harry wouldn't want that either! If Ron would've abused her, I definitely would've thought Harry picked Hermes as his best friend over Ronny! Ronald McDonald over here loves Harmonica. Even Joanne says she's afraid that people are starting to see Drakon over there as a good guy!
